Luminosity Behind The Palace

Man Ting Fang" is a palace-intrigue web series directed by Xi Dao. It stars Hu Lianxin ("A Lifelong Journey," "Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red-Moon Pact") and Fan Zhixin ("Eternal Love of Dream," "My Lethal Man"). The imperial family and the aristocrats headed by the four major clans co-rule the world. The powerful aristocrats who occupy high positions are oppressive and fail to fulfill their duties, resulting in the people’s suffering. Su Leyu (played by Hu Lianxin) is a noble aristocrat, forced to marry her childhood sweetheart, the new emperor Yin Changyan (played by Fan Zhixin), who is suspected of regicide and seizing the throne. However, Leyu remains sincere with a vision committed to equality. With the new emperor, she promotes women’s rights to take examinations and become officials, subverting the power of the aristocrats represented by the Qin family.
