His wife, Su Wanniang, eagerly awaits his return, only to receive his corpse stuffed with withered grass. Devastated by grief, she assumes the identity of Su Cao, a female physician, and infiltrates the imperial city. Using a herbal medicine stall as her cover, she quietly builds an intelligence network and carefully plots her way closer to the emperor, one step at a time.
